In the beginning there was the Supreme Spirit, one without a second. There was no universe then; there were no actual forms. Only Bliss absolute reigned, alone. When Spirit decided to create, it did so through vibrating the surface (in a way of speaking) of Its consciousness. This vibration produced a sound, the sound of AUM. Duality is the result of that vibration: movement in opposite directions from the normal state of rest in the middle.
Everything in Creation is a product of that vibration. We, too, are its manifestations—little vibrations of AUM. One of the best, and also the easiest, paths to God is to allow ourselves to become absorbed in that Cosmic Sound—to merge our little egos in that universal reality.
The more you listen to OM, the more you will feel yourself entering into it. Become absorbed in it. Feel it filling you, until your whole body vibrates with it.
Forget body-consciousness and surrender to that Cosmic Sound. In time you will feel it, and yourself, permeating the entire universe.
The more you listen to this sound and become absorbed in it, the more utterly blissful you will feel.
All knowledge is contained in that sound. You have only to ask for it, and it will be given to you.
All power is contained in that sound. You have only to call on it, and it will be given to you.
You will be able to attract success, true friends from past lives, all understanding, all knowledge, and all inspiration. When you are in that vibration, you need never fear anything; nothing and no one will be able to harm you.
The sounds you hear will usually grow more profound as you listen. The main sound to hear, and become absorbed in, is OM itself. Many blessings!
