Dear Friends,

I recently received some feedback from a respected peer that really landed with me as critical and overly judgmental. Luckily, I have been on this path long enough to recognize that I was overreacting because my ego was ruffled, so I did and said nothing until I could calm down. I’m still working on it! Even though I was deeply offended, I knew that the other person did not intend this nor had any idea. To aid me, I prayed to Master (he’s always in our corner!) to help me through this. Then, minutes later, I opened YouTube as I began my commute, and what popped up first was a talk from Asha I’d listened to months earlier, but which contained many nuggets of wisdom that spoke directly to my situation. Later that day, words from children’s art on the school walls popped out at me — endurance, faith, and other words that were exactly relevant to the heart of this particular situation. At 3:30, I opened YouTube for the commute home and heard more practical advice from a different source which spoke to the matter. Suffice it to say, our prayers are heard, so don’t hold them back! Acting on the guidance — that is the next step! However, as Master compassionately said, “Even if you do 1% of what I tell you, you will be alright!”

We’d love to see you, but if it isn’t feasible, consider joining our friends in the wider Texas community for Sunday service. Every 2nd Sunday of the month, Ananda Dallas hosts a special guest, and this month it is Nayaswamis Narayana and Dharmadevi from Ananda Village. Go to their website for the Sunday service link and all of their offerings. They really were a lifeboat for the rest of us during the pandemic! We hardly felt disconnected on our spiritual journey during those seemingly long-ago years.

Otherwise, our gathering details are below. Please note that unless you receive a special email cancelling the gathering, we will always meet on Sundays, even if I do not get an email out that week inviting you.
