Many Blessings to you on this anniversary of Paramhansa Yogananda’s birthday! He was born on January 5, 1893, so today he would be 130 years old! 🙂 May you feel his loving guidance behind your thoughts and actions.
This Sunday, January 8th, we will have a slightly different program. Maitri and Mark Smithhisler from Dallas will be with us, and we will broadcast Sunday Service from our yoga studio. Sunday Service differs from our meditation gathering routine in a few ways: In the service there is not an Energization Exercises segment; instead, there will be more reading and more chanting. We will of course, meditate and do affirmations and healing prayers.
Then, at 11:00, a guest speaker will join us virtually from Ananda Assisi, a cherished friend of Ananda in Texas, Darshan Lotichius.
Here is his brief bio: Darshan Jan Lotichius has been practicing meditation since 1981. In 1985 he met Swami Kriyananda, a direct disciple of the great Master Paramhansa Yogananda and founder of the Ananda communities in America, Italy and India. Since then he has been a disciple of Paramhansa Yogananda and the path of Kriya Yoga. Graduated in literature at the universities of Amsterdam and Rome and graduated in violin at the Bari Conservatory, Darshan has always looked for ways to integrate meditation into all areas of life: professional, artistic, social and personal.
So, please join us for part or all of the gathering this Sunday, January 8, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at our usual location of:
Be Well Yoga Studio
1906 Koenig Lane
Austin, TX 78756
We will go to Star of India for lunch afterwards.
In His Divine Joy and Peace,
Kimberly
