Today we had to try something new because of the growing concerns with the spreading of Coronavirus. We used the advent of telecommunication technology and used zoom to have a tele-meditation 🙂
Kim was the organizer who setup the whole thing and had also led the meditation. It was a short one with just a prayer followed by a reading of a passage by Ellen from The Spiritual Diary about mind.
Mind is the creator of everything. You should therefore guide it to create only good.
If you cling to a certain thought with dynamic will power, it finally assumes a tangible outward form.
When you are able to employ your will always for constructive purposes, you become the controller of your destiny.
~ Paramahansa Yogananda, “The Law of Success”
The mind creates everything in existence so it is very powerful. It’s up to us to generate the positive and energetic thoughts from our mind to create the vibrant reality we perceive. That’s the law of attraction. In Buddhism, it’s called planting the seed of impressions. Whatever thoughts we germinate will manifest into plants of reality either good or bad. That’s where our willpower comes in to make sure we plant the “good” seeds in our mind.
We had a shorter meditation than normal and we ended it by sending two healings prayers: one to friends and family and the other to the whole world including Mother Earth.
This was a great way to make what we can out of the cards we were dealt and continued our group practice. We are looking to make continual improvements upon our tele-meditation.
